The Nights of Seduction - Prologue
Lately, you’ve been down because of many reasons. What cheers you up the most is listening to Arashi music and fangirling about them online through forums and blogs. In your mind, Arashi is the best source of happiness. Every time you feel down, you put on a song from them. Your biggest wish is to meet them because you want to thank you for giving you hope and joy in your life. Plus, you can’t really choose a favorite since you love them all equally.
Since it’s been a year of insanity, you decide to just have
a day with your friend. You’re out with her or him at the Japanese bookstore.
You want to know what’s the newest magazines are that contain your favorite
Johnny Entertainment group. Well, as a surprise, Arashi is on the cover of
Myojo. You pick it up and your friend is pressuring you to buy it. Since you
like looking at the magazines before making your decision of purchasing them,
you open it up. The first couple of pages are of KAT-TUN and NEWS. Then you get
to your favorites. Your friend nudges you because it looks like drool will be
coming down from your mouth. They all have suits on and have great hair styles.
You can’t stop looking at it because it’s so mesmerizing. You turn the pages
and notice something bizarre about them, though. Their eyes are glowing red.
You know it’s just a magazine, but you feel like your soul is being pulled in.
It’s an unusual feeling.
“What’s wrong?” Your friend notices
your face is expressionless.
You look at her or him and respond,
“It’s nothing. I can’t believe the photographer messed up here. They’ve got red
eyes."
She or he looks over it, “I don’t
see anything. What are you talking about?”
“LOOK!
I’M NOT CRAZY” You say loudly. All the customers in the store look and see you.
You’re embarrassed and bow, “Gomen minna!” [Sorry, everyone!] You apologize a
lot.
Your friend thinks you’ve just been out it, “I really don’t see it. Maybe you need to rest.” You sigh and just nod. You think that maybe your eyesight is going or a headache is going to happen soon. You drop the subject and debate to buy the magazine.
You get home from hanging out with your friend and look at all the pictures you took of the day. A smile forms on your lips. Then, the flashbacks of the glowing red eyes appear in your mind. You shake your head, still thinking it’s a photography mess up. Normally, the magazine publishers are good at editing red eyes. You open up your backpack and take Myojo out to check again. There eyes are still red and almost looking directly at you. It’s bizarre. You decide to check other things like looking through all the other magazines which you know there are no red eyes. They all have them. Then, to check further, you watch clips of the videos you downloaded. The results are the same. How can stuff you’ve seen before result in seeing red eyes? It didn’t make. You don’t let it bother you further and get dinner.
The next day, you woke up from a nightmare. There were werewolves, vampires, and other supernatural beings roaming around. What stuck out was that all the members of Arashi were vampires. You hear something from your laptop and check it. Your friend you hung out with yesterday was concerned and instant messaged you. You tell her or him about it and she or he thinks that you need a vacation. How can you if you don’t have money to go anywhere? You just tell her or him that you’re going to have a ‘me’ day so you can figure out what’s going on. So, you decide to take a walk to clear your mind. Your heart beats a bit fast and then you get paranoid. You watch everything around you but nothing is suspicious. The sun sets. Everyone went home and you decide to go back home as well. On the way back, you hear something strange. It’s like a swooshing sound. You check behind you… no one’s there. Then in front of you, you see a vision of five Japanese guys. They smile at you and disappear. With that, you just run home and quickly go under your bedsheets.
The next morning, your cell phone rings. It wakes you up and
you answer groggily.
“Hello?”
“Get out of
bed! We have something important to talk about. So, come by in an hour!” Your
mother demands.
“Why?” You
ask.
“Please, do
not ask. It’s really important. Bye.” She hangs up quickly.
You finally sit up. Magazines and dvds are everywhere. You
yawn and stretch and take a quick shower. After, you dress up and head on over
to your parents’ place in your car. At your arrival, your parents smile. You
arch a brow and get out of the car.
“Ok, what’s so important that I had to get up early?” You cross your arms. Out of nowhere, your best friend shows up. He or she is smiling a lot as well. “What’s going on? This better not be a trick!” You had a bad night and just wanted to sleep in so more.
“You better be appreciative.” Your mother hands your father some paperwork and then gives it to you. You take a look at it and shocked. It’s a plane ticket to Japan for a month, two Arashi concert tickets, two backstage passes to see them and a credit card. You’re so speechless that you’re about to cry. Even in shock, you’re wondering why you have two of each since your best friend isn’t coming with you.
“We know you need a break and discussed it with a couple of your friends. Since we know you wanted to do this, take it as a relaxation present. The tickets and backstage passes weren’t easy to get just to let you know.” Your mother smiles. You can’t help it but give them both hugs! You now get to see Arashi and meet them all at once. Now, you were excited that you just wanted to leave with no luggage. Your immediate reaction is kissing them goodbye and drive home quickly to pack. As your packing, you try to make sure you have enough for a month. Of course, there are items you needed to leave space for since you’ll buy a ton of stuff from there. You’ve got everything and head off to the airport.
